    This month, with the colder weather, we're thinking all about staying Cozy at Home! Have you heard of the word Hygge, before? Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. Hygge (pronounced hue-guh not hoo-gah) is about finding deeper meaning within ordinary life and establishing a meaningful, mindful connection with the world. Hygge is not about grand gestures, but rather, embracing little luxuries everyday in order to foster a sense of familiarity, comfort and kinship. How lovely.

    Hi Gang! It's May! And a new month means...our new Freebie Washi Tapes are here!!! We've been so excited to reveal this month's washi tapes, as we've done a super special collaboration with WashiGang fave, Rox Paper Stickers!! Roxanne designed 3 Autumn themed washi tapes for us and we're absolutely in love with these designs! Roxanne also created this beautiful Autumn plans spread, using her tapes! It's so cosy and pretty and makes us want to do all of the fun Autumn things!!!

    WashiGang News: Calligraphy Workshop

    Did you know we have a WashiGang workshop coming up soon? Led by the talented Ali from Creative Inking, the Introduction to Brush Pen Calligraphy workshop is a great starting place for using brush pens! This workshop was so popular last time, we had to do another one! It's a really approachable workshop for beginners, with lots of tips and techniques, including lettering guides! Our participants could even see a difference in their technique by the end of the workshop.

    Hi Gang! Do you have any special plans over the Easter break? We're dreaming of an overseas getaway, but maybe a local trip to the beach, or a little camping trip would be nice? Or maybe we'll have to stay at home with the current situation in Queensland and Northern NSW. Mostly, we're looking forward to getting into some chocolate. ASAP!!!

    What have we been up to this past month??? We had a great month, with our first ever workshop, which sold out!!! We can't wait to do another brush pen calligraphy workshop again, in April. We've also had lots of fun new stock arriving, including a big 'new release' Happy Planner delivery, as well a few of our favourite art books coming back into stock!!! We also got our brand new WashiGang YouTube channel up and running, with flip-throughs and many more fun videos on the way. And finally - Harry, the WashiGang office chihuahua, is slowly learning to not bark at the delivery guy...sometimes...we'll get there!
