How to Write a Love Letter:
Step 1. Think about your reason for writing this letter and let the recipient know! Is it a special occasion? Has the recipient done something recently that has meant a lot to you, like support you through a hard time? Or, maybe you just felt the need to express your gratitude!

Step 2. Consider the recipients personality. Are they a mushy kind of person? Do they have a good sense of humour? Think about the tone of your letter and more about what the recipient might like to hear rather than what you would like to write.
Step 3. Recall a special memory or significant moment. Reflect on a moment where the recipient supported you, where you had a great time together, when you overcame a challenging time together, when you first met or when you first knew were meant to be!

Step 4. List the reasons why you love the recipient! Think about the little and big reasons why you love the recipient. By describing the little things the recipient does that may seem insignificant day to day you will show that you have been paying attention. "I love the way you talk to our dog so sweetly", "you are always so thoughtful when I've had a big day at work", "I love it when you smile after you swim at the beach," etc...
Lastly, describe the big characteristics that make them your favourite person! Think of personal things that aren't just about their appearance, such as, you're an amazing parent, you're a trustworthy friend, you're so kind and supportive. etc.
Here are 3 prompts:
"The things I love about you are..."
"I love the way you..."
"I love it when you..."

Step 5. Show the recipient that you accept them for who they are by complimenting their self-perceived flaws. Showing someone that you love and accept them, despite their insecurities, can deepen feelings of security, trust and passion. Remind the recipient that their perceived imperfections are what make them unique and even more special to you.
Step 6. Let the recipient know that you want to spend your future together!
Whether you're expressing a desire to make-out or a desire to hang-out, let the recipient know that you can't wait to spend more time with them. You could do this by suggesting a shared activity, or letting them know that you're up for anything of their choosing. Letting the recipient know that you desire them or enjoy spending time with them is another way to make them feel loved and that they are a part of your future. Describe your future plans and fantasies and what the future might look like for you and the recipient.
